1957 Buick Special Restored back to her Glory

COSMETICS:
This Buick was 100% complete when we started. All sheet metal is original to the car and solid. We had to do minor cut and weld on the front lower quarter panels. These repairs are typical for these cars. All chrome and stainless was removed to do correct paint and body work. A total of two gallons of P.P.G color matched Garnett Red Metallic and Dover White with a lot of Clear was sprayed on this car. The front and rear bumper, where chromed to Show Quality, triple plated copper and chrome. The Stainless has also been polished. All lenses and emblems have been refurbished. Rims Detailed and Painted,  Undercarriage, Wheel wells, Engine Bay, and Trunk Detailed and Painted.

INTERIOR:
The factory color and grain matched material has been ordered from S.M.S fabric. A new headliner, dash vinyl, seat vinyl and material, new door panel material, new carpet. This Buick will be a double looker when she is done.

WEATHERSTRIP:
New door, trunk, and engine bay weather-stripping, also new glass felts.

MECHANICS:
The original 364 Nail head Motor has been rebuilt, New Pistons, Rings, Lifters, Cam and Crank Bearings, New Timing Chain and Gears, Valve’s and Valve Guides machine heads. We rebuilt the original radiator, Alternator, Carburetor, and Starter. New upper and lower Radiator Hoses, Belts, Spark Plugs and Spark Plug wires.  It is built and ready for install. This Buick will look and run good for a long time. 

TRANSMISSION: Was Serviced

DIFFERENTIAL: Was Serviced

BRAKES: Good all the way around the car “new Master Cylinder.

ELECTRICAL: All lights and Gauges work fine.
