1974 marked the first major styling change of the 2nd generation
body. Changes included a shovel-nosed Endura front end, a horizontal
slotted taillamp treatment, lowered rear fender line and twin horizontal-rectangular
grill inserts with vertical blades. Also new for 1974 was single-buckle
seat and shoulder belts.
Total production for Trans Am in 1974 was 10,255, of that 4,648
were 455 H.O.'s, making this a "Rare" collector car.
